Users can provide incredibly valuable information about what is important in product design, but it takes some work to get a clear picture
I’m currently teaching at University Twente, department of Behavioral Sciences (mainly Communication Science). Before that, I studied in Technical Communication, where I did a research focused on developing the concepts of usability and user experience. In research, I’m passionate about figuring out ways for product designers to take the needs of users into account. I have a particular interest in how upcoming technological innovations will change our society.
Presentation: June 8 – The needs of the user. How people think about their own products in terms of usability and user experience.
An interactive session focused on thinking about the needs of users, mainly in terms of usability and user experience. I will also present some results of my own research, which is about the way users think about technical products that they use themselves.
